Has it been at least a year since you last had your eyes tested? If so, you should call us and schedule our Outer Mission eye exam. There are two important components to this checkup: first is to gauge how well you’re seeing and whether you need new or updated prescription lenses; the second is to screen you for common eye diseases, both those that can affect anyone, regardless of age and heredity, and the ones that may be specific to your unique circumstances.
Do you currently wear eyeglasses or contact lenses? If so, you may think that they’re doing an okay job. But we think that okay shouldn’t be good enough. Instead, we want you to have the sharpest and clearest vision that you can achieve. The goal of our Outer Mission eye exam is to detect even subtle changes in your vision that may require an update to your existing prescription. In some cases, glasses or contacts can become obsolete and completely unequal to the task of improving your eyesight to the degree you require. If you need them for driving, just as one example, this could turn out to be dangerous.
If you have never worn corrective lenses before, this could be the perfect time to take advantage of them. Why struggle with squinting or straining to see up close, far away, or at any distance? Even adequate vision can become excellent vision with the right prescription. You’ll know for sure after our Outer Mission eye exam. And of course, if you need a new or updated pair to glasses or contacts, we can make them right here for you.
It may not seem like a big deal to get tested for common eye diseases since you feel perfectly healthy. But most eye conditions don’t have any symptoms to notice during their early stages. This means that they can form and progress, all without you being aware. By the time you do know that there’s a problem, it usually means that some degree of vision loss or eye damage has occurred. Early detection through our Outer Mission eye exam can prevent that. Just another good reason to book yours right now while it’s on your mind.
